On the vast and boundless grassland, the wind gently blows, and the green grass is like a green ocean, surging with the vitality of life. This grassland is a symbol of freedom, a stage of life, and also the place where the boy and the wild horse meet.

On a sunny day, the boy was strolling alone on the grassland. His eyes were full of curiosity and longing for exploring the world. Suddenly, a wild horse came into his sight. That wild horse had a vigorous figure and shiny coat. It ran on the grassland like the wind, as if a flash of lightning streaked across the sky. The boy was attracted by the beauty and freedom of the wild horse, and a strong desire arose in his heart - he wanted to tame this wild horse.

The boy immediately started his actions. He chased after the wild horse and ran on the grassland. The grass under his feet made a rustling sound. The wild horse sensed the boy's intention and accelerated its running speed. Like an arrow leaving the string, it disappeared into the distance in an instant. The boy was not discouraged. He continued to chase and tried to conquer the wild horse with his speed and perseverance. However, the wild horse was so fast that the boy could never get close to it.

Then, the boy thought of the method of surrounding. He found some branches and stones and set up a simple trap on the grassland. Then, he carefully hid nearby and waited for the wild horse to fall into the trap. However, the wild horse was very clever. It seemed to sense the danger and detoured far away from the trap. The boy's plan failed again.

The boy was not reconciled. He tried to lure the wild horse with food again. He took out the bread and fruits he had brought and put them on the grassland, hoping that the wild horse would be attracted by the fragrance of the food. However, the wild horse was disdainful of these foods. It still remained vigilant and looked at the boy from a distance.

Repeated failures made the boy very frustrated. He sat on the grassland and looked at the wild horse in the distance, filled with doubts and losses. He didn't understand why he had tried all kinds of methods but still couldn't tame this wild horse. He began to reflect on his actions and think about where he had gone wrong.

At this moment, the boy remembered the Taoist concept of "overcoming hardness with softness." Taoism advocates conforming to nature, not forcing or acting recklessly. The boy realized that he had been using tough means to try to tame the wild horse all along, which was contrary to the way of nature. The wild horse is a symbol of freedom and will not yield to tough means. If he wants to tame the wild horse, he must change his strategy and impress it with gentleness and patience, conforming to the nature of the wild horse.

The boy decided to change his approach. He no longer chased the wild horse forcibly, nor did he set traps or lure it with food. He just watched the wild horse quietly from a distance every day and admired its beauty and freedom. Occasionally, he would send some clear water to the places where the wild horse often appeared. He hoped that in this way, the wild horse could feel his kindness and concern, just like what is said in Taoism, "benefiting all things without contending."

As days passed, the boy's patience and perseverance finally paid off. The wild horse's vigilance towards the boy gradually relaxed. It began to accept the clear water sent by the boy and no longer avoided the boy from a distance as before. Seeing the change of the wild horse, the boy was filled with joy. He knew that his efforts were not in vain.

One day, the boy gently approached the wild horse. His movements were very slow, for fear of startling the wild horse. The wild horse sensed the boy's approach, but it didn't run away. The boy slowly stretched out his hand and gently stroked the wild horse's mane. The wild horse didn't resist. It seemed to feel the boy's gentleness and kindness. At this moment, the boy seemed to understand the Taoist concept of "governing by doing nothing." It doesn't mean doing nothing at all, but not deliberately forcing a change but conforming to the development law of things to achieve a harmonious state.

Since then, the boy and the wild horse have become friends. They run on the grassland together and enjoy the free time together. The boy understood that tough means often fail to achieve the goal, while gentleness and patience can create miracles. This is just like what Taoism advocates, "softness overcomes hardness." Seemingly weak forces have infinite potential.

The story of the boy and the wild horse is like a beautiful poem echoing on the grassland. It tells us that in life, we should also learn to treat others and things with gentleness and patience. Sometimes, tough means will only make things worse, while gentleness and patience can resolve conflicts and create a beautiful future.

In this noisy world, we are often troubled by utilitarianism and impatience and forget the power of gentleness and patience. We are always eager for quick success and want to achieve our goals as quickly as possible. However, often things backfire. The more eager we are for quick success, the easier it is for us to fail. On the contrary, if we can be like the boy and treat every challenge in life with gentleness and patience, we will find that life is actually full of surprises and miracles.

Gentleness and patience are a virtue and a kind of wisdom. It can make us stay calm and optimistic in the face of difficulties and setbacks and not be swayed by emotions. It can make us get along more harmoniously and 融洽 ly with others and win the respect and trust of others. It can make us more firm and persistent on the road of pursuing our dreams and not give up easily.

Let us all be like the boy and learn to treat everything in life with gentleness and patience. Let us feel the beauty of the world with a gentle heart and wait for miracles to happen with a patient attitude. I believe that with the company of gentleness and patience, our life will be more wonderful, just like the state of natural harmony pursued by Taoism.
