In a remote little town, there live a bunch of simple villagers. This town is nice and peaceful, and people lead a simple and happy life. But then, an unexpected thing messes up the peace here.

One day, a young archaeologist named Lin Zheng shows up in this town. Hearing that there might be precious relics in an ancient tomb near the town, he decides to come and take a look. Lin Zheng, along with his assistant Xiao Wang, finds that mysterious ancient tomb with the help of the town’s folks.

The entrance to the ancient tomb is hidden in a thick forest, and there’s a mysterious vibe all around. Lin Zheng and Xiao Wang carefully step into the ancient tomb. It’s dark and damp inside, and there’s a stinky smell in the air. They hold torches and slowly move forward.

Deep in the ancient tomb, they find a huge coffin. The coffin is carved with strange symbols and patterns, giving off a creepy vibe. Lin Zheng gets really curious and decides to open the coffin to see what’s inside.

When they open the coffin, a cloud of black smoke rushes at them. After the smoke clears, they’re shocked to find three zombies in the coffin. There’s a man, a woman, and a kid. Their faces are scary and their bodies are stiff.

Lin Zheng and Xiao Wang are so stunned by what they see that they don’t know what to do. Just when they’re panicking, the three zombies suddenly start moving. They jump out of the coffin and lunge at Lin Zheng and Xiao Wang.

Lin Zheng and Xiao Wang quickly turn around and run. They run like crazy and finally get out of the ancient tomb. But the three zombies are right on their tails, like they have some kind of purpose.

After Lin Zheng and Xiao Wang get back to the town, they tell the town’s people about what happened in the ancient tomb. When they hear this, the folks are all freaked out. They know that the zombies will bring a huge disaster to the town.

Just when everyone’s in a panic, a Taoist priest in a Taoist robe passes by the town. The priest is called Qingfeng. He has a thin face and deep eyes, and he gives off an otherworldly feel. After hearing about the town’s trouble, Taoist Priest Qingfeng decides to help.

Taoist Priest Qingfeng carefully asks Lin Zheng and Xiao Wang about the ancient tomb and the zombies, and then thinks for a bit. He tells everyone that zombies are afraid of sunlight, glutinous rice, and peach-wood swords. We gotta find these things quick to deal with the zombies.

Under the lead of Taoist Priest Qingfeng, the town’s people quickly get a bunch of glutinous rice and peach-wood swords, and set up traps around the town.

When night falls, the three zombies show up in the town again. They bare their teeth and claws and pounce on the town’s people. The folks pick up glutinous rice and peach-wood swords and start a fierce fight with the zombies.

During the fight, Lin Zheng notices that the kid zombie seems different from the other two. There’s a hint of innocence and kindness in his eyes, like he doesn’t want to hurt people. Lin Zheng gets an idea and decides to try to talk to the kid zombie.

Lin Zheng slowly approaches the kid zombie and talks to him in a gentle tone. The kid zombie seems to understand what he says, and the fierceness in his eyes fades away. Lin Zheng takes the chance to take him to a safe place and uses glutinous rice and peach-wood swords to break the zombie curse on him.

The kid zombie goes back to normal. He tells Lin Zheng that their family was a happy one living in ancient times. But then an unexpected disaster turned them into zombies. They were sealed in the ancient tomb. It wasn’t until Lin Zheng and Xiao Wang opened the coffin that they could see the light of day again.

The kid zombie asks Lin Zheng to help his parents break the zombie curse too, so that their family can live a happy life again. Lin Zheng is touched by the kid zombie’s sincerity and decides to do what he asks.

Lin Zheng and the kid zombie go back to the battlefield together. They find the kid zombie’s parents and use the same method to break the zombie curse on them. With the curse lifted, the two zombies go back to normal too.

Seeing that the zombies have been successfully freed from the curse, Taoist Priest Qingfeng is relieved. He warns everyone to respect nature and not mess with some mysterious powers that shouldn’t be touched.

When the town’s people see that the zombies have been taken care of, they all let out a sigh of relief. They’re really grateful to Lin Zheng and Taoist Priest Qingfeng, and praise them as brave and smart heroes.

After saying goodbye to the kid zombie’s family, Lin Zheng goes on with his archaeological journey. Taoist Priest Qingfeng also sets off on a new trip and keeps guarding the peace of the world.

From then on, the town goes back to being peaceful and nice. And the legendary story of the zombie family is passed down in the town and becomes something people talk about after meals.
