In the long river of time, there is an ancient town that quietly nestles between green mountains and clear waters, like a painting forgotten by time. This town is laden with countless stories and legends. Every ancient stone and every mottled tile seem to be recounting the glorious past. And when Halloween arrives, this town is enveloped in a mysterious and lively atmosphere.
On the streets, colorful lanterns are hung high, emitting a soft glow. The shop windows are filled with all kinds of strange and exotic decorations. There are huge pumpkin lanterns with exquisitely carved faces that shimmer with eerie light. There are black bat models as if ready to soar in the night sky at any time. There are also dolls of little monsters in various shapes, cute yet with a hint of mystery. People put on all kinds of fancy costumes and wear various masks, shuttling back and forth on the streets, and laughter and chatter echo throughout the town.
Amid this extremely lively atmosphere, a figure staggers into the town. He is Tieguaili. Tieguaili is wearing a worn yet charmingly unique Taoist robe. His messy hair is casually draped over his shoulders, and he is holding a crooked staff in his hand. Although his steps are somewhat unsteady, each step seems to carry a mysterious power. His eyes are deep and full of wisdom, as if able to see through everything in the world.
At this moment, the children in the town are excitedly running around in the guise of little monsters. Some are dressed as cute little vampires, showing their pointed teeth and with red paint on their faces. Some are dressed as clever little witches, wearing black hats and waving magic wands in their hands. Some are dressed as terrifying little zombies, hopping and skipping through the crowd. A naughty child, while excitedly chasing after his little friend, completely fails to notice Tieguaili in front. With a "bang", the child accidentally bumps into Tieguaili.
The child is startled and quickly looks up, his eyes full of panic. He thinks he will surely be scolded. However, Tieguaili is not angry at all. Instead, he shows a kind smile. He slightly lowers his head and looks at this panicked child, softly saying, "Little one, don't be afraid." As he speaks, he gently waves his staff.
Instantly, a mysterious light shimmers at the top of the staff. This light is like a brilliant star, illuminating everything around. The children are attracted by this magical light and gather around in droves. They open their eyes wide and curiously look at Tieguaili and his staff, their hearts filled with doubts and curiosity.
Tieguaili looks at these lovely children, and a warmth surges in his heart. He decides to tell the children about his legendary experiences and take them into a fantastical Eastern mythological world.
"Children, do you know? I was once an ordinary person. But because of an accident, my soul left my body. During the process of searching for my body, I encountered many difficulties and obstacles." Tieguaili's voice is deep and magnetic, as if carrying a mysterious power that takes the children into that distant story.
"I wandered around, looking for my destination. In this process, I saw all kinds of sufferings and injustices in the world. But I didn't give up and continued to move forward. Finally, in a mysterious place, I met a fairy. This fairy saw my perseverance and courage and decided to help me. He gave me this magical staff, allowing me to find my body again."
The children are mesmerized. They seem to see Tieguaili's figure struggling forward in that mysterious world. They are moved by Tieguaili's courage and perseverance, and their hearts are filled with admiration.
"Since then, I have followed the fairy to learn Taoist arts. Taoism emphasizes following nature and pursuing inner peace and harmony. We must learn to let go of the distractions in our hearts and merge with nature. Only in this way can we truly understand the meaning of life." Tieguaili continues to recount Taoist thoughts. His words are like a clear spring, flowing into the hearts of the children.
The children listen quietly. They begin to think about their own lives. In this noisy and impetuous world, can they also find inner peace like Tieguaili?
Tieguaili looks at the thoughtful expressions on the children's faces and feels extremely gratified. He knows that although these children are still young, a seed of kindness and courage has already been planted in their hearts. As long as this seed continues to grow, they will surely become responsible people in the future.
"Children, this staff is not only my weapon but also my companion. It has magical power and can help me defeat evil and protect kind people." Tieguaili says as he waves his staff again. The light at the top of the staff is even more dazzling, as if showing the children its power.
The children look at the staff excitedly, their eyes full of longing. How they wish they could also have such a magical staff to explore this mysterious world.
Tieguaili sees what the children are thinking and smiles, saying, "Children, as long as you keep a kind heart and bravely face the difficulties in life, you will also have your own power."
In Tieguaili's narration, time seems to stand still. The children are immersed in that fantastical Eastern mythological world, forgetting everything around them. It is not until night falls and the starlit lights illuminate the entire town that the children reluctantly bid farewell to Tieguaili.
Since then, the children have been filled with longing for Eastern mythology. They begin to read books about Taoism and learn Taoist thoughts. In their hearts, Tieguaili has become a legendary figure, and his story inspires them to keep moving forward.
And Tieguaili continues his journey. He knows that in this world, there are still many people who need his help. Carrying that magical staff, he staggers into the distance, leaving behind a back full of mystery and legend.
